DR. RAVINDER SINGH MALHOTRA M.S. (Laparoscopic, GI & Bariatric Surgery). He has an experience of more than 17 years in basic and advanced laparoscopic surgeries. He has more than 7000 laparoscopic surgeries to his credit. In 2009 he became the first surgeon in the region to perform Bariatric surgery. He also pioneered the single incision laparoscopic surgeries and advanced laparoscopic surgeries like distal pancreatectomies, colorectal and gastric surgeries in the region. He has a rich experience in laparoscopic hernia management and has performed few of the rare hernia surgeries in the world which have been presented and published in various international conferences and journals. He is also a national faculty for the hernia PACE Program. His armamentarium also includes LASER ablation of varicose veins, pilonidal sinus and fistula management. He was formerly Senior Consultant and chief of Surgery in Fortis Escorts Hospital, Amritsar.
